Drive from Brigham City, Utah, to West Yellowstone, Montana was a short one... only about 260 miles.
We are now at the W. Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, witch is located just West of the West gate to Yellowstone. We are at 7000 feet, in forest and mountainous terrain. The RV park is huge, with about 300+ RV spots. The West gate to Yellowstone is only about 1/2 mile from us.
YES... we are in Montana. There is about a 5 mile strip located in Eastern Montana and Idaho, of Yellowstone national park. All 2 states can claim the "Hot Spot Park as their own. You actually enter Wyoming AFTER you pass through the Park entrance station.
Didn't do much after getting here. Lauri and I (yes I) did some laundry... OK I carried it over to the machines, Lauri did the laundry. We checked out the RV park and found the Dog Walk" area. Always an important part of our afternoon "check things out" routine. It's supposed to FREEZE tonight, so I'll need to disconnect my water hose(s) from their system. They have a "Pipe Warming" system, but if my personal hose is attached, the warming system cant keep up, and the Bib valve might freeze and break. If that happens, a big $50 fine is coming the 'ol batman's way. No Thank You.
