Chase Day:  #3     
457.9 Miles

     Up early and our group of Chasers went to breakfast.  We had our morning briefing while eating, and we were on the road by 0930.  Our goal today was to return to Miles City, Montana, and pick up our 4 Chasers that were unable to enter Canada, and then get as far South as we could.

     Canada 13 took us SE to Canada 36.  We turned South past Willow Bunch Lake and the little town of Willow Bunch.  We continued past miles and miles of pasture and grazing land until 38 merged with Canada 18.  We headed East, then South past more pasture and grazing fields.  We went through Coronach before 18 left us and we were back on 13 all the way to the boarder crossing at Scoby, Montana
     We handed the Boarder and Customs Agent our 7 Passports.  He looked at them, then look looked at us, then looked at them again, before saying, "What do we have here?"
     We laughed and he smiled.  We explained our mission of Chasing Storms.  He hadn't heard of that event before and was somewhat amazed.  His attitude softened a bit and he went through the process of asking the mandatory questions.  Our van cleared Customs wiyhout to much delay.  Our counter part van had a question that took some time before they were cleared.
     Good to be back in the good 'ol USA, even after only ONE DAY!
     Bottom line for today's chase is...  not much going on storm wise (look at the sky in all of the pics).  We headed South to start to set up for the next days drive.
     WE stayed in Gillette, Wyoming.
