We are off and only 1/2 hour behind time.  This will be a short BLOG today.  Our destination is Las Vegas, Nevada...  Sin City...  The Desert Oasis...  Mob Town West-coast...

"What happens in Vegas...  Stays in Vegas", or so they say.  What they mean is...  "What you loose in Vegas...  Stays in Vegas!"  

Lauri, and I don't gamble, so no problem there.  Lauri does, on occasion, put some money into the "Slots".  So when I say...  "PUT SOME MONEY INTO", I mean she only "PUTS IT IN", and therefore it's not considered gambling.  However, no visits to the casinos this trip.

We are staying at a NEW place this time for us.  It's Sam's Town Hotel - Casino - RV Park.  It's a way from the Strip, out by the Airport.  Spike, our "Wagon Master" for the infamous Alaska trip, stays here exclusively, and recommended it.  Nice place, but no FREE WiFi.  that makes sense, because Spike carries his own Satellite Wifi with him.   Hmmm...  Not so us  :-{
