No rush for this mornings activities.  Most of us are going to "Bear Country".

This is a Wild Life Preserve that is located in Rapid City, and has several species of Endangered Animals under their protection and for us to look at, and enjoy, in an Open Live Exhibit area.  There are numerous endangered animals being taken care of here:  Coyote, Dahl Sheep, Big Horn Sheep, Arctic Wolves, Elk, Caribou, and Bison,  The smaller animals include Fox, Badger, Cougar, Bob Cats, and others.  Of course there is a very large habitat of Black Bear.  I would guess we saw as many as 30 or 40 Black Bear, in a Drive Through enclosure.

However...  all things considered..  The Bear Cubs stole the show.

This video will cause you to loose your heart to these little furry guys and gals.

After Bear Country, we had to get back to camp, but not before we made one last stop.  Now anyone that knows Lauri, will also know I'm telling the truth when I say...  "She made me stop here..."  Everyone knows that there isn't many Christmas items that Lauri doesn't have, but there just might be that one special thing that's here that isn't anywhere else.  Yeah...  right.

Tonight is Batman and Lady Bat's turn to fix dinner.  Along with Bev and Tom, who were providing some really great Salmon, we were making my special and "World Famous" Spaghetti sauce.  The sauce had been simmering all day long, and the smell was very evident when we drove past our coach.

We made the last of the preparations, boiled 5 pounds of Spaghetti noodles, put it into a large aluminum pan in the oven, and brought it up to temperature.   After the mandatory, and nightly,  "Cocktail Hour", Bev and Tom put the Salmon on to fry.  By the time I got back to the dinner / meeting area...  it was time.  Dinner was enjoyed by all.  Both Salmon and Spaghetti were a big hit.

Yes...  they look old, but so am I.  This photo looks like the "Boarding Area" for a 'Seniors Only' Cruise Ship.  I'll tell you one thing though...  they are all really nice folks, and Lauri and I are very grateful for their friendship.
