Chase Day  #8:

     To call today a "Chase Day" is stretching the point just a bit...  although the sky looked promising to the West.  But today was not for Chasing the Clouds.

     Today was...  Well...  Like all things "Batman"...   Wham!  Pow!  Boom!  Crap!   Just like our emotions...  Mixed.  I believe we all felt some remorse that the trip and experience was over, however, being away from home is difficult as well, and feelings of "Home Sickness" were get to (at least) me.  I missed Lauri and of course "The Golden King"' and "The Dark Prince."

     The task for today was simple...  To get from "There...  to Here", or in this case, "From A..., to C..." (on the map), in time for our departing Chasers to catch their flights.

     We were successful (barely).  Stacey was cutting it a bit close, and maybe DeeAnn and Misha also.  We said our "Good Byes" (hugs to guys and gals alike) to 7 of our fellow crew and one Staff Driver, and the last 4 Chasers and 3 Staffers headed for the hotel for the night.  Actually Jenna wasn't spending the night, but returned to the Super 8 to get her car for the 8 hour drive to Omaha.

     And like the "Dumb Ass" I am...  I forgot to take pictures of any of the Fond Farewell.

     I'll recap the week tomorrow if I get a copy of the "Group Picture", so I can include "The Chasers and Staff of 2012 Tempest Tour #9".

As the old saying goes...  "Finally made the trip and have the T-shirt"
